REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

 

Our returns and exchanges vary by item and have been outlined below. Simply put, we want you to love your purchase from R. Home Co. and we are here to ensure that happens.

 

Stocked Furniture – 14 days from date of purchase. Items that qualify are furniture pieces that are available inside our studio or in-stock in our local warehouse. Please contact us to arrange a return authorization before returning.

 

Custom Special-Order Furniture – These items are made to your specifications and can only be cancelled within 24 business hours from the date of purchase and require a 50% deposit. After this time frame, cancellations are only accepted for reasons such as manufacturer defect or damage. If you wish to cancel for any other reason, the deposit will not be refunded.

 

Non-Furniture Items – 14 days from date of purchase with proof of purchase. The item must be in its original condition, including packaging.

 

Final Sale – Items specifically marked “final sale” or “floor sample” cannot be returned.

 

Online Direct Ship to you – Purchases made online cannot be returned. Items refused or returned for reasons other than manufacturer defect or damage will have a 50% restocking fee applied.

 

Damaged Merchandise – Any damage must be reported to the delivery driver at the time of delivery if the white glove delivery option is selected. Merchandise that is directly shipped to you or customer pickup must be reported within 7 days of arrival or pickup. You can report this to our store or by sending an email with pictures to damages@rhomeco.com. We will be in contact within 24 hours to provide a resolution.

 

Credits and Refunds – Refunds are issued in the original form of payment. If you paid in cash or check, your refund will be issued by company check within 7 business days. It may take up to 30 days after receiving your returned items for your returned funds to process. 

Zack Girard - Owner

Zack Girard's passion for design began with his experience in home building. Over a decade ago, he founded Girard Homes in Columbia, building beautiful custom homes for clients. It was through building and furnishing model homes that he made his entry into the furniture and interior design world. His involvement in the building industry provided him with the opportunity to construct and furnish stunning model homes. This experience fueled his interest in opening a furniture store, which eventually led to the creation of R. Home Co.

Becky Erdel - Lead Designer

Becky Erdel's passion for design began at a young age, often finding herself rearranging rooms in her parents' home. What started as a childhood interest blossomed into a lifelong career in Interior Design. Over the years, Becky has worn many hats in the industry, from managing her own successful furniture store, IO Metro, to collaborating with builders on designing and furnishing stunning model homes. She also works closely with individual clients to bring their unique design visions to life. Becky takes immense pride in every project, ensuring each one reflects her dedication to creativity and functionality.

Nathan Tucker - Inventory Buyer & Store Manger

Nathan Tucker discovered his enthusiasm for business details during his time at the University of Missouri, where he earned a degree in Business in 2016. After college, Nathan's passion for design, home furnishings, and decor led him to join the R. Home Co. team. With his keen eye for detail and a love for all things related to creating beautiful spaces, Nathan has become an integral part of the company, contributing to its innovative approach in the industry.
